How the Design Process Works

Every project starts with a Discovery Call to learn about your style, what you hope to achieve, and how you plan to live your best life in the space. Based on photos of your existing space, house plans if you are building, and any inspiration photos you have, we will create a detailed Scope of Work with a set design fee, meaning no surprise costs later.

Once, the Scope of Work is approved and paid in full, we will schedule an in-home meeting to take measurements, photos, and discuss any existing home furnishings.

With the project goals in mind, we will further discuss any project particulars and personal preferences before delivering your Design Concept Board. The Design Concept Board narrows down the style we will create by using inspiration photos and detailed characteristics of the design plan including color palette, finishes, and materials.

Now is the fun part! You sit back and relax while we get to work on the design of your new living space. Once complete, we will schedule your Design Presentation which will include digital floor plans, mood boards or renderings, and design selection sheets where applicable. One revision per selection is offered to finalize the design.

Once the design has been finalized we will provide you with a furnishing invoice and take care of all the ordering, scheduling, and customer service needs involved throughout the order and delivery process.

This step is optional and is priced separately at the Design Presentation. If you choose to add on Install + Styling, our team will assemble and install all furnishings based on the design plan and style the space with the finishing touches that truly are the cherry on top!
